Why were Barbies even invented? So lil girls can get all anorexic and/or bulimic? I'll bet the eating disorder trend started with the Barbie doll so that lil girls can look like 'em, so that they can get their version of Ken, a tall dark & handsome stud like Ken. so that they live in a Malibu penthouse or something.
A lot of girls wanna emulate Barbie so that collect Barbie dolls. One year they even sold a life-size Barbie doll! Can you believe it? Face it, no one can be slim like Barbie or can catch a tall, dark, handsome stud like Ken so girls turn bulimic/anorexic. I mean, get real, there's no doll out there's that fat and chubby unless you talking about baby dolls or Cabbage Patch Dolls (Just thinking about it creeps me out! cuz I hate dolls w/ a vengeamce. Sorry.)
Me- I'm not so keen on dolls myself, never mind Barbie dolls, they creep me out. I prefer my stuffed animals (ie.: Care Bears etc)
I was never a "Barbie girl" either. My favorite toy was a stuffed animal named Mrs. Bunny. I still have her after all these years!
