Don't you think it's wrong to display for all the world to see (well, just how many people reads the New York Times? Millions? Billions? And that's counting the hardcopy and the online version, to tell of how they met and all that... Nothin' wrong w/ that but one thing. . They met while being married to other people. They broke up their previous marriage to be together Can you believe they wonld print this kind of junk up? It's fit for tabloids, but they're two respectable individuals, Carol Anne Riddell, a former TV reporter & her new husband John Partilla, an advertising executive, who so happened to be married w/ kids at the time they met. They can no longer stand sneaking around. Their own spouses aren't stupid, y'know, With a lil investigating (cuz they only like the richest, most powerful men n' women around) they would bound to know that something's up. They ended up divorcing their spouses and marrying in holy (or is it unholy?) matrimony. They said they don't want to hide the truth from their kids. Their kids look up to their parents. Some kids have parents as role models. How would the kids feel if they see out in the paper, a paper that their friends' parents read, that their mom n' dad (the cheaters) were cheating on their spouses? It would've been much better if they found out from their very own parents and not from some media outlet. They would be in denial at first, defending theri parents that they didn't do such a thing. When they found out the truth from their parents, however, they would be angry, hating both his stepparent and stepsibling and most of all his/her own parent.
IMHO, if they wanted to do something for their kids, they should never have broken up their own marriages just so they could be together even if they found true happiness and true love together. If they weren't married and didn't have kids, that would be a whole different story. They should've stayed have together for their kids' sakes. How selfish of them to think of only themselves and not of others involved who might be hurt in the process. Being a parent and a spouse is about self-sacrificing; jt's about thinking about others besides yourself. Selfish rich brats.
Sorry I've been ranting...
