What Not to Wear: Celebrity Edition

Why do people-I mean us common folk, that is, non-celebs- criticize the way the celebrities dress. It sure has nothing whatsoever to do with their job as entertainers. Who cares what they wear? I guess it's your perception them by seeing how they dress. If they dress sloppily or rather boho, that is layering, it becomes the latest fad 'cuz  people see 'em as role models or something. If they dress like say in outrageous outfits, they get notice 'cuz people will notice 'cuz they're celebs. And not only 'cuz they're celebs, the first thing a person notice, even to like say a job interview or whatever, if you don't look nice and neat, you won't get hired. But these celebs aren't dressing to impress. They sometimes do although most of the time the just dress (or not) just to make a statement (like Lady Gaga with her meat outfit or totally in reverse, celebs for PETA going stark naked.)
