Life just doesn't any better for NatPort! What a year 2010 has been for our girl! Not only has she won the Golden Globe for Black Swan! (Have y'all heard of it?) Been a long time comin'! She's a wonderful actress (ever since the Star Wars prequels)!
Not only that, she got engaged and is pregnant (Yep, he's the baby daddy) with the choreographer in the Black Swan flick, Benjamin Millepied. They met last year. Quite a year for our girl here! They're gonna have a lil Ben or a lil Natalie soon! What exciting news!

Update: Michael Jackson's death
MJ's doctor is on trial for his death. The charge is manslaughter. Of course, he pleads not guilty.
el Jackson's doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, administered a dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol and other sedatives, then left the pop singer unmonitored. His doctor ordered 100s of bottles of propofol b4 MJ's death. Investigators said his doctor acted outside the standard of medical care when he administered propofol and failed to provide proper care. Also, according to MJ's bodyguard, the 'good' (more like 'evil') doc didn't know how to do CPR the morn to his dying patient.
Also, the doctor's medical license was suspended in the areas he practiced which included Houston & Las Vegas. If convicted he will served up to 4 yrs in jail.
IMHO, he shouldn't even be tried because he wasn't the one who asked for the pills. Michael Jackson was the one who asked for it. Why can't they just let sleeping dogs lie? Or in this case, the dead rest in peace? Let Michael Jackson rest in peace!!

Lifestyle of Rich and Famous (and Infamous)
I wish...
Wishing upon a star (taken from a song)
I was rich,
spoiled (to be honest, I'm already that-cause I'm the baby of the fam so I get spoiled a lot
plus, I always was a brat to my fam)
elite
glam
fashionista (right now, my wardrode leaves a lot to be desired)
have everything handed to me-boys, boys, boys-there's eye candy, but how about arm candy?
bling, bling
sports cars (ie.; Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc
I paid people to be at my beck n' call
Live life in the lap of luxury- wining n' dining without a care in the world. Being spoied by the people, mostly men, who are at my every beck and call. Mixing it up with the rich and famous (and sometimes infamous) wearing the latest and sometimes the clothing lines that came straight from the catwalk. No expense is too great or small because when you're rich, you seriously can splurge, splurge all you want! Speaking of splurging, you can live where you want, whether it's in the Hollywood Hills in LA or Fifth Avenue in NYC. Speaking of traveling, being rich means you get to travel to undiscovered unknown lands (exaggeration 'cuz all the lands have been discovered already)
But being rich n' famous has its price: there's no privacy always being criticize for this or that (for choice of boy/girl friends, being too skinny or too fat) being too much or too little of one thing or another. The lifestyle of the rich n' famous isn't all its cracked up to be. The privacy issue is a hairy issue-it's a 'don't even go there' zone. If you're rich and famous (and infamous) you get in-your-face attention from the paps or paparazzi.
Consolation prize: you get money and world-renowned recognition (not to mention to the high-priced mansions!)
Bad side; Paparazzi and no more privacy-when you've become famous you give up your right to privacy

Theodore Dreiser The Titan
Set in the late 1800s, this book is basically about a multi-millionarie who wants to monopolize Chicago thru underhanded scheming. Corruption mayhem ensues! (An interesting factoid: Did you know that Springfield and not Chicago was the capital?) Anyway, all the newspapers turn against this dude, Cowperwood (Have ever heard of such a name before?) are against him cuz not only is he a crookekd politican but he fools around w/ those men's daughters and wives (Can you believe it women weren't even allowed to vote or run for office?) Anyway, Cowperwood and his cronies bribe the politcos like this: if you pass this bill/ ordinance or whatever, you get paid 'under the table.' Somehow the newspapers get wind of this lil info and bang! they're all against him!
As for his private life, he was married while in jail. But another girl, Aileen, visits him often and that's what starts the romance. And then he ends up divorcing the 1st Mrs. Cowperwood in favor of Aileen. But along the way, he finds Aileen not up to his standards, so he decides to play the field, but it stirs the ire of the husbands, fathers, et al, who turns the newspapers against him. (They try to be honest, but is there such a thing as a honest politician? I think not! I think that's an oxymoron.) Still, he forms his own alliances although he is underhanded at it, scheming his way to the top. (You don't get to the top by being nice to people!) Most of his schemes involves bribery-he is rich; he can afford to give away his fortune in order to pass one or another bill or ordinance.
I won't get into detail because the politics way back when were way too complicated (and I don't want to give away the story), but let's just say he is defeated but he did finally find true love in a young woman by the name of Berenice Fleming, whose mother Mrs Carter owned a bachelor quarters in Louisville but Cowperwood made her moved to NY and they lived off his money. He first fell in love with her when he first saw her pix at her mother's in Louisville. When her beaux found out where she came from, they went screaming for the hills! (figuratively). They didn't want anything to do with her. After Cowperwood's public defeat, he looks like a better match for her. At first, she wants to make her own way in the world, understandably. (Women during this period didn't have much standing, not much position except in society.) Cowperwood helps Berenice in society, but after his public disgrace, he looks better and better since he alienate Aileen with his confession of love long gone. Aileen even attempts suicide after this confession. After his fall from grace, Cowperwood and Berenice spend his last years of his life in harmony. I don't know what happen to his enemies or Aileen but as they say: Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Sorry for the repetitive in some spots, but I need to get my point across.

The reality of wrestling
My grandma loved wrestling but I stopped watching it cause it was too barbaric for my taste. But I recently took up with it again.
The question is: Is is real or not? People say the wrestling you do at the is real but the kind of wrestling you watch on TV (TNA Impact, WWE) is not real. But how could it be? I think wrestling as entertainment is real cause they get really hurt out there Wrestling as a sport is for wimps (sorry, Olympic guys)
I prefer the chick wrestlers back in the day-remember Cyndi Lauper & Wendi Malick? Now there are more chick wrestlers-no holds bar! It may be barbaric, but hey, it's just entertainment
But in this violent society, we shouldn't allowed something so violent like wrestling to be our only form of entertainment. There are other ways (thank goodness!) of entertainment but kids (and maybe adults) will emulate these wrestlers like my brother who copied the wrestling technique after watching it on TV
