I'm so mad over the Runaways!
Watchin' their movie starring Kirsten Stewart & Dakota Fanning had something to do with it....But listening to their music online made me a true fan of the Runaways. I wish I was a fan of 'em back when they were popular, then I could've collected all those mememorbilia/souvenirs of theirs. I wish I was a group, then I could've known them up-close n' personal.

I just recently started listening to them too! They were such a huge step for women in music. If you're interested in learning more about them, I just started reading this book called "She's a Rebel" by Gillian Gaar. It goes through the history of women in Rock n' Roll and there is a section dedicated to The Runaways. It is pretty interesting stuff.
